Introducing the
Rev6 Six Essentials.

The Rev6 Six Essentials are based on decades of study by Dr. Edythe Heus and are the building blocks for the entire Rev6 experience. Learn and apply the essentials, and you’ll find they have a powerful and lasting impact, especially for those who feel unsure about how to move correctly. Connect to your six essentials and apply them to any activity to automatically perform better as you mitigate potential injuries.

1. Mind your feet.

Your foot health is instrumental to your overall health and performance. The feet absorb shock, inform us about changes in our environment, and influence the health of all body parts above them.

2. Hollow your abs.

Your lower abdominal muscles initiate movement. Spinal lengthening results from abdominal hollowing and vice versa. These two mechanisms are the primary basis for core stability which leads to better performance.

3. Lift your torso.

Enables the upper body to carry its own weight and prevents that weight from resting on the low back and hip. In turn, there is less likelihood of injury to those areas, and increases in running speed and athleticism prevail.

4. Float your head.

This will release tension in the neck, and the spine can lengthen more when the head is free. This also results in an improved range of motion of the neck.

5. Relax your back.

The tailbone is a physical and energetic anchor, and mastery of its position is essential for stability. Dropping the tailbone as though a small weight was attached to it is an integral part of relaxing your back.

6. Your shoulders fall into place.

Relaxed shoulders, proper shoulder blade alignment on the rib cage, and an open chest result from the precision of the first five essentials. Energetically healthy shoulder position and movement result in an open chest and flow into the head, affecting thought patterns of openness, love, and joy.
